CAROBA® BALANCER DRILL BALANCING MACHINES
AUTOMATED BALANCING BY DRILLING AND MILLING
Due to the over-proportional influence of unbalance on quiet-running, fast rotating components are always balanced - the unbalance is measured and then often corrected manually by drilling or milling. For small quantities and without cycle time specifications, a manual process is still economically interesting. For high quantities and large series, this procedure no longer pays off. Automated balancing is recommended for short cycle times and therefore high output. We combine dynamic unbalance measurement and automatic correction in one station to simplify scaling.
The requirements of balancing tasks are diverse, and we put together the right components for support, drive, measurement and correction from our modular system. The workpiece fixture in particular is often customised.
Several correction modules for drilling/milling and grinding are available for the chipping correction of your components and assemblies. The balancing software calculates the depth, shape and position of the material removal from the measurement data and transmits these values to the correction modules. The unbalance correction is carried out fully automatically in 1 or 2 planes, radially and/or axially. Any chips produced are extracted directly at the tool.
We equip our balancing systems with different levels of automation. Measurement and correction are usually fully automatic. On request, we can supply you with interfaces for line integration or automate the loading/unloading process for you.
